Ann graduated from Fox Chapel High School and Franco Beauty Academy in 1973. She has been in the beauty industry for 51 years! Ann loves doing hair and makeup, so her family and friends encouraged her to go to beauty school and this is where Ann found her passion. Ann enjoys making people feel good about themselves and finds it rewarding and exciting. Ann is always keeping up with trends and styles keeping herself and her team a step above the rest! After many years of being in the industry Ann is now stepping into the next chapter of her life… retirement!

Amanda graduated from Northern Westmoreland CTC and Valley High School in 1997. She has been in the industry for 30 years! Amanda became licensed as a nail technician at the age of 16 and went on to get licensed for hair at 18. She worked at A Polished Performance for 15 years then went on to become the co-owner of A Finished Appearance! Amanda’s passion for the industry came when she would come home from school every day and watch her mom do hair. She fell in love with how happy the clients were. She found her interest in nails when she had a full set of acrylics put on for a dance and loved how they looked. Amanda does all aspects of hair, nails, and pedicures here at AFA!

Amy is a 2000 graduate of Northern Westmoreland CTC. Her career started in 1998-2009 at A Polished Performance as a “shampoo girl” leading to learning and partnering with L’Oréal Professionnel to grow her color expertise. Amy then moved into A Finished Appearance in 2010. Amy’s passion for the industry started at a young age, when she would get her hair done by an 80’s hairdresser in a 90’s world. She thought it was interesting to see the instant change in not only the hair but the look on the client’s face. She wants her guest to love their hair when they leave and be educated on how to achieve the same look at home. Amy specializes in all aspects of hair at AFA. Some of her certifications include Bellami Professional Master Certification, Brazilian Blowout, and Amy also attended 2 years at Artist Foundation with Loreal Professional.

Lisa has worked in the industry for 38 years. She has been working in Lower Burrell 33! Lisa is a nail technician at AFA. Lisa went to votech at Penn Hills high school. Her love for the industry started at a young age when she’d cut her Barbie hair and do their nails. She enjoys, helping people feel good about themselves not to mention their relationships she builds!

Diane has been in the industry for 40 years. She is a graduate of Franco Beauty Academy in New Kensinton. Diane's interest in the industry started when watching her aunt who was also a cosmetologist and the director of Franco Beauty Academy. Diane loves making people feel beautiful and confident, and also enjoys the long term relationships she builds with them. Diane specializes in all aspects of hair; cutting, coloring, perming, and Brazlian Blowouts. She also does spa manicures, gel manicures, and pedicures.

Danielle has been in the industry for 10 years and has been with AFA for 2 years. She went to Empire Beauty School in Monroeville. Danielle's interest in hair started when she taught herself how to braid at 4 years old. Someone close to her passed away, but before she made Dani promise to go back to school and do what she loved, she was a stylist too. Dani currently doing hair, gel/spa manicures, makeup, spray tans, and now taking clients for extensions (k tips, I tips, wefts, and tape ins).
